About Us
Leidenschaft is a concrete design studio shaping sculptural, functional objects for contemporary living. We work in a single material and let it speak — honest, tactile, and quietly imperfect.

Shaped by hand, defined by material
Leidenschaft began with a single conviction — that concrete deserves to be seen as more than structure. Where most see a building material, we see a medium capable of holding light, texture, and quiet emotion.
Every piece leaves our studio hand-cast, hand-cured, and hand-finished. No two are identical. The faint variation in tone, the soft edge where the mould released, the grain that surfaces only after curing — these are not flaws to be corrected. They are the record of how the object came to be.
The result is furniture and objects that feel settled in a room rather than staged in it — pieces designed to age slowly, gather character, and remain relevant far beyond the season they were made in.

Material honesty
We never disguise concrete as something else. No veneers, no imitation finishes. What you touch is exactly what the piece is made of.

Guided by Wabi-Sabi, we let the mark of the hand remain. Variation in tone and surface is the signature of a piece made by people, not machines.

The hands behind the form
Mallika Singh
Founder & Creative Director
Mallika founded Leidenschaft after more than a decade working closely with concrete — first as a constraint, and eventually as a language. Her practice is grounded in the Wabi-Sabi belief that the natural, the imperfect and the understated hold more warmth than the flawless.
She remains involved in every stage of production. Forms are studied by hand in the studio, mixes are adjusted batch by batch, and no piece is signed off until she has seen it finished in daylight.
